About Me
I am a professor of art history at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
TEACHING
I teach introductory courses in Art History and upper-level courses in medieval and Renaissance art, including a January interim course in Florence. I also teach Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies.
RESEARCH
I recently co-authored a new Medieval Art History textbook, published by Oxford University Press, Medieval Art 250-1450: Matter, Making, and Meaning. I have also published articles on Italian stained glass in the 13th and 14th centuries and on the revival of medieval stained glass in nineteenth-century Florence.
PERSONAL
I have been teaching at St. Olaf since the fall of 2000, and I love it. I live in Minneapolis with my husband and our children.
